Glossier London

2021
London, UK

Situated in London’s Covent Garden, Glossier London occupies the neighborhood’s oldest building. Established in the 17th century, the building was once home to an architectural club of London, with tucked away music halls and social rooms. The building’s rich history serves as inspiration for the concept–one which celebrated the existing details while a contemporary veil of illuminated paneling juxtaposes the past and the present.

Unlike most of Glossier’s open-plan designs, the compartmentalized layout of this location provides a unique customer experience. Guests are led through different rooms with no suggested order-of-operations, discovering the different categories of products as related to each room– a skincare area with a ligh blue sink, a room dedicated to makeup, and a central table displaying the brand’s best-selling products.
