The Plaza at Santa Monica

The Plaza at Santa Monica is a dynamic, mis-used development that encompasses a civic plaza, residences, retail, cultural venue, and boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Santa Monica. The progam-centric deisgn activated the surfaces of an accordian-style extrusian. The extruded surfaces adopt various programs, creating a silhouette showcasing its public space and tiered design-system.
